Tour Review: The Gentleman Mentor by Kendall Ryan

Tour Review: The Gentleman Mentor by Kendall Ryan

Kristi’s Review: I really enjoyed this story. It’s grasped my attention from page one. Under my direction and guidance, women learn seduction techniques, how to achieve climax with and without a partner, explore physical gratification, and more… Ahem… where do I sign up? This is a story about Brielle, a shy, beautiful woman wanting to seduce her best friend, but doesn’t know where to begin. She finds an ad for a Gentleman Mentor, who will, ahem, teach you all you need to know in the bedroom…and how to get what you want. I enjoyed the banter between “Dom” and Brielle right from the get-go. The email exchanges were one of my favorite things in the book and I only wish there was more. Brielle thoughts and questions are on every woman’s mind…or at least crossed every woman’s mind at one point. Am I flirting correctly? How do I get a… Read more »

Giveaway and Happy Release Day for ASA by Jay Crownover!

Giveaway and Happy Release Day for ASA by Jay Crownover!

Release Day EXCERPT: I pulled the Nova to a stop in front of a duplex that had clearly seen better days. It wasn’t a rusted-out trailer in Kentucky, but it might as well have been. I turned off the ignition and sat back in the seat so I could turn to look at Ayden. She was watching me carefully and I could see how frustrated she was with the entire conversation in the way her shoulders were tensed up and the way her hands had curled into tight balls on her lap. It was the way she used to look whenever I got into trouble and she had to do something desperate and drastic to get me out of it. I reached out a hand and put it on top of her fists. “I died in that hospital, Ayd. There were no angels playing harps. There was no redemption and… Read more »

It’s finally here! The Merc Book! This is a standalone book, so if you are into the “dark” reads and have not read any other book by me, you can jump right in. I have two exclusive excerpts for you. One is here and one is on my author page. EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT “I’m waiting, bobcat,” he says. I cringe at the name. It’s so degrading. But I’m running on instincts now. The training has taken over and I’m powerless to stop it, even if I wanted to. And I don’t. So, “More, please,” is my response. “More what?” “Take it all, Case. You told me eight years ago you owned me. So take it. Take me. Take me the way you promised when you left me behind to die.” His hands are under my shoulders, urging me to sit up. I comply. Because that’s my job here tonight. And then… Read more »

Kin Series by Jenn Foor

Six Books plus ONE BONUS novella! One LOW Price… check out these excerpts…  Repair Me (Book 1)  Sky’s POV “Do you mind?” “I’ve seen a naked chick before. It ain’t like you’re hidin’ yourself.” He didn’t take his eyes off of me. “Please get out?” I was beet red, waiting for him to leave, looking for something to cover up my nakedness. “I really need to get a shower.” He leaned over and turned on the water. “It is my place, you know.” I gathered my things, while still wrapped in the towel and started to run out of the bathroom, until I caught a glimpse of him taking off his pants. Once I saw his perfectly sculpted bare ass, I just froze. He grabbed the shower curtain and took a step in, then looked back at me. “Now we’re even, I reckon.” With a quick smile he disappeared behind… Read more »

Get a bit of a peek at each one and make the decision, as tough as it may be, for a chance to win! Excerpt from READY OR NOT: We walked back to the pathway in silence before I decided to lighten the mood. “Did she ever bake those cookies for you?” “The ones with the dried cherries and toffee pieces?” I nodded, grinning. “Yeah, she did,” she answered. “They were like an orgasm in a baked good.” I laughed, shaking my head. “They’re damn good, but if that is your comparison to an orgasm, you’ve been with all the wrong men.” “And just who is the right man? You?” A wicked smirk spread across her… Read more »

Giveaway & Release Day Launch: Lessons in Pure Life

Giveaway & Release Day Launch: Lessons in Pure Life

EXCERPT: Diego approaches at last. Dead serious. Christ, that’s a big man. He’s next to me, standing so close I feel the heat of his body. His body. I don’t dare look directly at it or my head will turn into a big, red factory whistle with steam shooting out, like in a Bugs Bunny cartoon. “Emilia Noble, this is Diego Valverde.” Jose’s accent slurs a little, the hard edges of the English words sticking together in the tropical heat. Funny to have such a formal introduction in such a leisurely setting. I picture us all wearing striped ties with our swimwear. My heartbeat pulses in my throat, an invisible necklace with a throbbing pendant. I smile tentatively, craning my neck because he is almost a foot taller than I am. Don’t be intimidated. I want to be as lucid as possible, considering at least sixty percent of my brainpower… Read more »

Review: Tool by Sabrina Paige

Review: Tool by Sabrina Paige

OK, a few weeks ago I wrote a post about Stepbrother Romances, Yay or Nay. And I got a lot of (positive) feedback about the current theme in indie, new adult books. Well, since that post, I read two more stepbrother taboo books, and guess what… I loved them both. So hello bandwagon, I’m Kristi and I continue to enjoy these taboo love affairs. To read my post about the current trend of stepbrother romances, including Prick, also by Sabrina Paige, click here. I recently read the new release, Tool: A Stepbrother Romance, this past weekend and what can I say… it has all the goodies I love in these new adult books. 1. Hot, bad ass stepbrother 2. Smart, trendy heroine (the stepsister) 3. Chemistry and banter (love hate relationship, angst) 4. Hot sex (dirty, wet panties sex) 5. HEA I loved this book. I loved it so much my… Read more »

Review: ROCK by Kendall Grey

Review: ROCK by Kendall Grey

Holy flaming furburgers and disjointed dicks, this book – can I just tell you how much I love these characters? That’s the first important point, the members of Killer Buzz Float are freaking badass mofos that I want to spend some serious party-in-a-hotel-suite time with, hopefully when it’s one of their birthdays. They never get old. I could read 85 books about Letty, Shades, Eve, Rax, Jinx, and Toombs. They’re deep, well developed characters who are fun and funny, but who will jerk the emotions out of you like a dick on a short fuse. Second: Birthday Club. The first rule of Birthday Club is holy shit, Birthday Club. The second rule of Birthday Club is fuck yeah, Birthday Club. As if anyone needed a reason to party like it’s PornHub, the KBF crew make it their mission to make birthday wishes come true, including mine, because I so wanted… Read more »

Here’s an exclusive EXCERPT from The Shameless Hour! Enjoy. I heard the band start to play the classic one-two Merengue rhythm that I’d heard my whole life. On the dance floor, the energy picked up as the geezers began to move to the faster beat. “Let’s go,” I said, standing up. I offered Bella my hand. But Bella shook her head. Even worse, she scooted her chair toward the wall. “Don’t leave me hanging,” I said, my hand still waiting in the air. “Come on now. Nobody… Read more »

$15 GIVEAWAY and SNEAK PEAK COVER REVEAL: Meet Me In The Dark by JA Huss

$15 GIVEAWAY and SNEAK PEAK COVER REVEAL: Meet Me In The Dark by JA Huss

EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT I study his back as he flips some more pancakes. He’s hot. I didn’t want to tell him that the last time I thought about it. But there’s no denying. Merric Case gets what he wants because a) he doesn’t take no for an answer, b) he’s got the skills to back up his “requests”, and c) he’s handsome. He fills his plate, walks around the counter, and takes the barstool next to me. “Eat,” he says, pointing to my plate with a fork. A second later he’s stuffing his face. I take a bite, then a few more before gulping some juice and coming up for air. “Mmmm. It’s good.” “I know,” he says smugly. “I have two talents, Sydney Channing. Killing and cooking.” I nod and stare at my food. Right. “So do you want me to take you to the truck?” I take a bite… Read more »

GIVEAWAY and Release Day Blitz for Fall With Me by Jennifer Armentrout

As you know, I’m a really big fan of  this author. I devour all her books…she never disappoints! Once you read this excerpt, I know you will do what I did and one-click! FALL WITH ME Excerpt: Someone—was it Melvin?—catcalled as Reece led me down the hall, and my cheeks flushed. “Okay, heman, I can walk all by my little self.” He cast a look over his shoulder at me as he opened the office door. “I’m sure you can.” Then he pulled me inside. My gaze flipped to the roses—the roses!—but before I could say a word, he closed the door and my back was pressed against it, his hands planted on either side of my head and his face right in mine. Like right there, within kissing distance. Wow. “So, I was at my father’s place in New Jersey most of the day, and you know, he lives… Read more »

Holding Strong is apart of the Ultimate Series, which includes these title. Hard Knocks No Limits (A Novella) Holding Strong Tough Love Fighting Dirty Excerpt: Gaze softening, her attention went all over his body. “Seriously, Denver. Did you really want to argue right now?” He searched her face. “No.” Hell no. Especially not with her looking at him like that. He moved in again, one hand on the wall by her shoulder. “Thing is, I’m not sure you want what I want.” For the longest time, their gazes held while her breathing quickened and her cheeks warmed. Finally, in a whisper, she asked, “Do you want me?” With one short nod, he pressed her to the wall, feeling her all along his length. “Have for a long time.” “You hid it well.” “Then I’m one hell of an actor.” He brushed his mouth over her forehead. “We have a lot… Read more »

Happy ONE Year Anniversary to Guns by JA Huss

Happy ONE Year Anniversary to Guns by JA Huss

Any one who knows me, knows I love Spencer Shrike with a passion. I claimed him as my top book boyfriend over a year and a half ago… and one year ago today, Guns: The Spencer Book released. Julie gave me an ARC on my 28th birthday and I cried. I cried a lot through this book; because her characters became real to me. I fell in love with #theteam and wanted to be a part of their world. I wasn’t ready to say good-bye. The Rook and Ronin series and spin-offs also led to an online group of ladies, Julie’s street team, who became a family of friends throughout this series. I continue to interact with these ladies on a daily basis, many who I chit chat with on the phone, send funny texts, or simply PM. We are a close knit group of friends, all who came together… Read more »

A. MUST. READ… Need by KI Lynn and N. Isabelle Blanco

Kristi’s Review: I don’t even know  how I can adequately put my thoughts into words that would remotely come close to telling you how much I freaking LOVED this book. Love—is an understatement. I devoured this book. I want to reread this book, already. I want each and every romance person out there to read this book. Brayden is such a dirty talker…and I loved every word. I heard a lot about this book from my book friends. So I one-clicked when it released. I’m digging the taboo reads lately, and if you follow this blog or our Facebook page, or know me from Shrike Bikes, you know I’m a fan of the step-brother trend in books. This is by far MY FAVORITE step-brother read to date. It’s a top read so far this year. It’s a top NA read, ever. So why did I wait to read this book?… Read more »
