I’ve already reviewed Selling Scarlett and I’ll have my Taming Cross review on Sunday (I’m reading it right now). This series is so great. And even though Selling Scarlett is about a young woman selling her virginity off to the highest bidder, that’s NOT what that book is about. It’s so, SO much more. Both of these books are about how far you’d go to help out a friend in need. And in the case of Taming Cross, I’m only 10% in, but it’s about how far you’d go to help someone you don’t even know. So if you like romantic suspense, smexy love scenes, an original plot, and well developed characters–this series is for you.
Also – Taming Cross has some of the same characters in it as Selling Scarlett, but this is Cross’ story and can be read as a standalone.

I would like to think I would risk my life for a friend but my kids are still young now so I would think my first concern would be to make sure I am there for them. I know that must sound horrible but my kids always have and always will come first.

I might risk my life for a very good friends, but only if my kids weren’t at risk at the same time. I kind of doubt if I would risk my life for a complete stranger… That might sound callous, but that’s the truth.
