Everywhere I look, my friends are settling down - marriage, children, white picket fences; but not me. Marriage isn't in the cards for me. I’m a ladies man.
A rock star.
I was born and raised in the industry.
I love everything about my life, especially the attention from the women that my status brings me.
Women find me. I don’t chase. I know what they want and they know I’ll deliver.
But after one look, one touch, one night...
now I’m the one doing the chasing.
I need to find a way to show her that I’m serious, that I can change.
I need to find a way to show her that I can love her fully, and only her.
I need to find a way to show her that she’s my forever.

The Beaumont series just keeps getting better and better. I adored Forever my Girl – it was a sweet second chance romance that was just heartwarming. But I LOVED My Unexpected Forever so much. I really connected with that story. So when I started Finding My Forever I wasn’t sure what I was in for. I fell in love with Harrison and Katelyn and that whole story.
But I tell you this book totally took me by surprise. This is the BEST Beaumont book so far. I fell in love with Jimmy and Jenna – and look they even have matching first name letters!

This book takes all the other stories and piles on a heap of danger, mystery, and a perfect happily ever after. Every single time I thought I had this story wrapped up, I got another surprise! One I sat up and gasped! I was like – oh, shit! And that was just the beginning. So much happened. I’m not a spoiler so I’m not going to rehash the plot, but I love that Heidi delved into patterns of domestic abuse in this one. Jenna is truly a strong character who fought hard for her second chance. She was amazing.
But honestly it was Dirty Dog Jimmy that swept me away. He was bad in all the right ways. Yeah, he’s got a past, but he’s ready to move forward.

Another character I loved in this book was Liam. I’ve always adored Liam, but in this one he’s—to put it bluntly in Jimmy’s words: a little bit pussy-whipped!
Jimmy: “All I’m saying is that you’ve been getting in touch with your feminine side lately, and it’s starting to show.”
Liam: “That’s what happens when you’re in love.”
One thing I’ve remarked on in all three books was how “smart” these characters are. They are mature, they don’t do stupid things, they say what’s on their mind and work through things like adults. They are easy to like and when I opened the book the first thing I felt was that I was coming home. I feel like I live in Beaumont. I can picture the whole town in my head.
Five stars for the third Beaumont Book – and that’s three for three, for me.

About Heidi McLaughlin

My grandma once told me that I can do anything I want, so I am.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I now live in picturesque Vermont, with my husband and two daughters. Also renting space in our home is an overhyper Beagle/Jack Russell and two Parakeets.

During the day you’ll find me behind a desk talking about Land Use. At night, I’m writing one of the many stories I plan to release or sitting courtside during either daughter’s basketball games.

I’m also an active reviewer on The Readiacs – a site I own with my best friend and uber special beta, Yvette.
