$50 GIVEAWAY and EXCERPT: The Opposite of Nothing by Shari Slade

$50 GIVEAWAY and EXCERPT: The Opposite of Nothing by Shari Slade

She changed into a tank top and threadbare shorts before slipping into her desk chair. I’ll just check my school email, ten minutes tops. She was lying to herself, bargaining with the devil. I will not open his profile. I will not send him a message. Making that fake profile for herself last month had seemed like such a good idea at two o’clock in the morning, after a few beers with Jessa and a few agonizing hours of watching Tayber hook up with some random girl at The Brick. She just wanted to know what she was missing. In graphic detail. Sasha let her find out. Except it had only made her wanting worse, and it was such a wrong thing to do. So she’d stopped. TOUR REVIEW: Frenched by Melanie Harlow

TOUR REVIEW: Frenched by Melanie Harlow

C’est  tres bonne! This is the first book I’ve read by Melanie Harlow and it won’t be the last. Frenched is my favorite kind of story to read; it’s smart, funny, emotional, and very sexy. I found myself smiling through entire chapters, unable to stop reading. The story captures your interest immediately and you instantly bond with the characters in the book. I was sure my heart would burst from my ribcage. She didn’t care about any of the things Mom forced down our throats. I smiled down at her, wanting to remember her this way. Before she cared about stuff like shoes or makeup or hair or what other people thought of her. Before she became me. I pulled her in for a hug, pressing a kiss on top of her greasy, unwashed head. I didn’t even mind. She peered up at me strangely and I covered the tender moment with… Read more »
