I was raised right. To mind my manners, keep my knees together, to put my napkin in my lap. But somehow, with one look at the dark sexuality that is Brett Jacobs, I forgot my Southern graces. They may have gotten lost in the pushmeupagainstthewall and takemehere action that occurred. In the clothes rippingohmygod action that followed. They may have, along with my sanity and common sense, deserted me, leaving me with bruised lips, ripped panties, and multiple orgasms.
The Innocence Trilogy Synopses
Blindfolded Innocence, book 1: Brad De Luca is incorrigible. The premier divorce attorney in town, he is a forty-year old walking hunk of sex, bedding half the town, including his own clients. Brad is used to getting whatever, and whomever, he wants, and when the newest intern arrives - Julia Campbell, a pre-law student fresh off a failed engagement - he embraces the challenge. Only, happy in her new independence, the last thing Julia wants, or needs, is an older man who could destroy her job prospects, and possibly her innocence.
Julia is confident in her sexuality, and her effect on men. But she is far out of her league. Before she knows it, Brad is stretching her boundaries and opening up a forbidden world of sensual and sexual exploration.
Warning: This book contains explicit sex scenes, including a MFM menage.
The Diary of Brad DeLuca, book 1.5: I was happy with my life. And who wouldn’t be? Beautiful women, money, a job that I could sleep through and still make bank. But I was bored. And I never could walk away from a challenge. This challenge turned out to be brunette. Feisty. Just the way I like them. But innocent. Too innocent for me. Too innocent to do anything other than sample and then toss back. Anything more would be too risky, too much work. I was unprepared for Julia Campbell. I should have done my homework, should have looked before jumping off that cliff. Ditching her proved to be problematic, my sexual needs greater than my common sense. She was different. She became more than a challenge. She may just bring my world crashing down.
(Read after book 1)
Masked Innocence, book 2: The man was sinful. It wasn't just the looks that made him dangerous, it was the cocky confidence that dominated every move, every touch. And the frustrating yet ecstatic fact about the whole package was that he could back it all up…
Julia Campbell never knows what to expect with win-at-all-costs Brad De Luca. And she's starting to like it that way. She gave up safe, conventional relationships when she let the elite divorce attorney seduce her into his world. Now that he's determined to strip her naked of every inhibition, she's in danger of falling too deep and too fast.
But their affair begins to feel even more dangerous when a murder leaves a trail of suspicion that points straight to the mob…and Brad. Trusting a man with a bad reputation and a past full of secrets seems like a mistake. But when she's forced to make a choice, the consequences will take her further than she could ever have imagined.
End of the Innocence, book 3: He thought I owned him. He thought he loved me, that I was enough. But this animal, this sex god who could drive me crazy and steal my heart in the same breath, he would never fully be mine. It was impossible. No one ever owned a God…
One year. I have one year to find out more about this man I am marrying. More about his family. More about our sex, and all of the dirty, delicious places it will take me.
I thought I’d spend this year making a decision. I never thought the decision would be taken from me, snatched right from my naive little hands.

You’ve heard about the Bend anthology, right? Eight original and NEW stories by eight amazing authors? Well I have a hard core girl crush on Alessandra Torre, so it was one of the first stories I read. But before you read more about Still below, you need to know that New Adult Addiction has an EXCLUSIVE Naughty and Nice interview with Alessandra’s hubby, who I like to call Brad. Why Brad you say? Well, after you read my review of Still, make sure to read Jana’s review of Alessandra’s Innocence Trilogy, which is one of my most FAVORITE trilogies of all time. If you’ve read the trilogy, you’ll enjoy this exclusive interview even more, and if you haven’t yet, you’re in for a treat. It’s HOT and the answers are even hotter! (Make sure you check our Facebook page for Alessandra’s Naughty and Nice answers too… oh did I forget to tell you, she’s her own cover model too? Just add it to the list of why I love her so much!)
Now on to Still.
Once again, Alessandra surprises me with her writing style and unique characters. Still starts out with a wild and crazy girls bachelorette weekend in the Bahamas. (Alessandra, if you ever need a girls weekend, I’ll totally come!) Quiet, reserved, girl meets hot, mysterious, sexy man… for one night of hot sex. But Alessandra made me want MORE. I’m deeply intrigued by where this book could go. Still ends a bit abruptly with a promise for more, yet, the more isn’t defined. (It’s left open and could go in so many ways.) The chemistry between Riley and Brett is smokin’, the anticipation and build up is filled with tummy butterflies, and the sex is hot. Somehow in a short novella, Alessandra has written Riley as a responsible, yet interesting, smart and sexy heroine; while Brett is intriguing in that I think he’s bad, but he wants to be good. He’s drawn to Riley and while he can’t resist her, he’s almost trying to stay away in order to protect her from something, or maybe even protect her from him. All I can say is that this story leaves you wanting more, and I can’t wait to get my hands on the full length novel, hopefully soon. How is it possible to already be plotting my Brett stalking skills? ‘Cause I am. Looking forward to reading the rest of Brett and Riley’s story! 5 DeLuca+Jacobs stylin’ stars!
EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH ALESSANDRA’s HUSBAND, an inspiration for the character Brad DeLuca from her Innocence Trilogy!
Now there are some that think Alessandra’s husband is really Brad… or I should say, we HOPE and THINK they are the same person. Whoever each may be, both are hot…I mean, have you read this series? I’ve been hearing for a year about Blindfolded Innocence from Jana. Never read it. Thought it wouldn’t be my thing. Then she insisted, OK, she MADE me, because well, it’s on her required reading list. So I gave in and read book one in March, after all three books were released. Thank f*ck that they were all out by the time I read them, because I devoured them, in three days. And I still think about Brad— every day. Alessandra is aware of this as I remind her daily when I stalk, I mean Facebook her…anyway, enjoy these answers, I know I nearly fainted. Continue on to read Jana’s reviews below, and see why I gave in and read these books in days! Each book is on my top 5 read books of the year, maybe of all time! They’re that good.
Take a look at Alessandra’s HUSBAND’s answers to our Naughty and Nice questionnaire! Now, if he’s not really Brad…
I’m not sure who is! And for Alessandra’s Naughty and Nice spotlights, click here to read them on our Facebook page.
Thank you so much Alessandra for your time (and your husband’s answers too).
Book 1, Blindfolded Innocence features 21 year old college senior Julia Campbell interning for the semester at the law firm of Clarke, De Luca & Broward. They assign interns at this firm based on sex. That being, anyone of the female sex is not assigned to Brad De Luca. So you know what happens right? Of course Brad wants her. I love a delicious older man, younger woman scenario. Bring it. Julia is a strong woman. She’s not interested in risking her reputation and future law career on a fling with a partner in the firm. But… the best laid plans, right? This is the point that I need to tell you something. There’s a bit of a twist to this alpha man playboy story. Brad likes to share.
Are you still with me? When I read the first book I wasn’t sure where this was going. Was this a standalone kinky book? A series? Where the hell was this going? Do I want to read a whole series about a guy that is willing to share the heroine? How is that going to work? I love the alpha male “you are mine” books, how does a guy whose kink is sharing going to work for me? It works. Oh, does it work. If you read book one expecting a sex fest you’re going to be disappointed. It takes a while. Wait for it.
Book 2, Masked Innocence picks up soon after book 1, but things have shifted. Brad turns from this player into… dare I say… book boyfriend extraordinaire. You think I’m going to tell you that he fell so in love with Julia that he didn’t want to share her anymore right? I’m not. He still wants to share and it’s still hot. I should clarify for you that it is sharing with other men. While he watches. There is no touching between the men. It feeds his competitive drive to watch someone else pleasure her, then pleasure her himself. It works. Trust me, it works. Brad & Julia are devoted to each other. They have a bond and Brad is freaking fantastic in this book. He’s crazy about Julia. You should note, the focus of the book doesn’t end up being a sex romp. Nope, this is actually a love story. Brad realizes how much Julia means to him and how far he’s willing to go for her. How much he’s willing to commit to save her. But I won’t go into any of that. You’ve gotta read the book.
Book 3, End of the Innocence starts with a hint of the danger to come. I promptly checked the lock on my door and gripped my ipad close. Julia is in danger. I don’t know yet when this danger is going to pop out and scare the crap out of me, but I know it’s coming. For now, Julia’s biggest worry is that her relationship with Brad is about to be ousted to the entire law firm. The staff’s reaction, and Julia’s discomfort had me grinning in delight.
Chapters 12-14, holy mother of hitachi. A friendly warning, do not read those chapters at work.
Brad & Julia’s relationship grows. The danger continues to lurk. From me. Because I am about to cut a bitch to get to Brad. Julia is lovely, I have no beef with her. I just think that Brad should be real. And mine. So I might be willing to help someone get rid of her. Bad guy, call me!
The last 15% of the book, I couldn’t put it down. Stay up late & finish kind of can’t put down. Brad is head over heels in love with Julia. He’s delightful and alpha and charming throughout. He went from Player Brad in book 1 to Book Boyfriend Brad in books 2 & 3. I will miss him. And that bitch Julia. I’ll miss her too.
5 Stars.
