I call him “Tool” because he’s a dick.
Gaige O’Neal is nicknamed “Tool” because of what he’s packing. Rumor is, he’s well equipped.
I wouldn’t know. I’ve never had the pleasure.
He’s a cocky, entitled, insufferable a**hole who’s as reckless with women as he is with that stupid motorcycle he races.
He’s also my stepbrother. Lucky me.
It’s been four years since I’ve seen him. Four years since he’s made me so frustrated I could scream. Four years since he’s given me that look, the one that makes me instantly wet.
So it’s just f**ing fitting that the first time I see him in four years, he’s buried beneath three scantily clad blondes.
Now I’m stuck here under the same roof with him while he recovers from a racing injury. An injury that clearly hasn’t affected the use of his tool.
The problem is, as much as I despise him, I just can’t help myself. I want to find out what kind of tool he's working with.

OK, a few weeks ago I wrote a post about Stepbrother Romances, Yay or Nay. And I got a lot of (positive) feedback about the current theme in indie, new adult books. Well, since that post, I read two more stepbrother taboo books, and guess what… I loved them both. So hello bandwagon, I’m Kristi and I continue to enjoy these taboo love affairs. To read my post about the current trend of stepbrother romances, including Prick, also by Sabrina Paige, click here.
I recently read the new release, Tool: A Stepbrother Romance, this past weekend and what can I say… it has all the goodies I love in these new adult books.
1. Hot, bad ass stepbrother
2. Smart, trendy heroine (the stepsister)
3. Chemistry and banter (love hate relationship, angst)
4. Hot sex (dirty, wet panties sex)
5. HEA
I loved this book. I loved it so much my husband yelled at me at Easter brunch because I was reading it and being “rude”. I swear it had nothing to do with stuffing my face with ooey-french toast casserole goodness resulting in a food coma, or the fact that I was at my in-laws. I just couldn’t get Gaige out of my head. He’s the best kind of character. The big, bad ass, nothing bothers me, macho guy who has a heart of gold and eyes for one particular girl. And what happens when this hot, bad ass sees the one girl (Delaney) he went ga-ga over as a teenager, and they reconnect after four long years? An awesome read is what happens!
What I like about the two books I’ve read by Sabrina, is that she creates realistic, strong, beautiful female heroines. I was able to escape into this book, I may or may not have replaced all mention of Delaney with my name :), and couldn’t put down this book down. Even with knowing it had to have a HEA, I wanted to know their story. I wanted to know what happens between these two characters. And I was pleasantly and utterly satisfied. I’m still kinda in a book hangover after this one.
Yes, this is another stepbrother novel, however, if you’re like me, and enjoy the hell out of them… you’ll like this one, too.
