WASTED LUST a story about Sasha Cherlin who appears in Slack, Come Back, Coming For You, 321 (unnamed at the very end), and Meet Me In The Dark. It CAN be read as a standalone, but readers should be aware that this book is meant to be “The End” for Sasha and her life in the Company. Wasted Lust occurs ten years after Coming For You, two years after Meet Me In The Dark and AT THE SAME TIME as 321, so it is a parallel book, and although there are no real spoilers for 321 (I was very careful to avoid them) the plots converge in the middle of Wasted Lust. I would consider this to be a traditional romantic suspense and it is not dark.

Rook and Ronin have been very busy since we last caught up with them after GUNS was released. First of all, Ronin, Spencer, and Ford decided they needed to keep all the team chicks together and out of trouble, so Ronin went out and bought Rook this fabulous dream house on the Southwestern edge of Fort Collins. Speaking of Sparrow Flynn, she is turning eight this year in the new book, Wasted Lust, and Veronica is throwing her a fabulous Biker Princess party over at the Shrike Bikes showroom. You can check her out on the Rook & Ronin Dream House Pinterest Board. More on that Wednesday when I highlight what Spencer and his Bombshell have been up to lately.
Rook dropped out of film school and convinced Ronin to purchase the Fort Collins Theater and Coffee Shop. She figures going Indie was better for her personality than four years in a classroom and started making her own short films immediately. She’s even won a few prizes at film festivals.

Ronin runs the Fort Collins Summer Film Festival each year, which features the most creative upcoming minds in the film industry. Rook is not allowed to compete, but she enthusiastically plans all the parties! He’s also an agent for up-and-coming talent, and sponsors a contest that foots the bill for each winner’s first full-length Indie film.

When they are not working, Rook and Ronin like to travel with little Sparrow. They take a road trip across the US each year for vacation. They aim to hit all forty-nine drivable states before Sparrow turns 18.
If you have not met Rook and Ronin, don’t worry – this HEA stuff is not spoilerish in the least. This series is a “You think you know, but you have no idea” kind of story. 😉 So go ahead and pick up book one, Tragic, and see what the fuss is about.

Wasted Lust is not part of this series, but it revisits Rook, Veronica, and Ashleigh when Sasha goes home for Sparrow Flynn’s 8th birthday party.
