Dual Reviews of Bastian’s Storm by Shay Savage

Dual Reviews of Bastian’s Storm by Shay Savage

We LOVE Shay here at NAA. Make sure you check out our Author Spotlight and this week’s Hump Day Hottie below. Because we love Shay so much, we needed two reviews of Book 2 in the Surviving Raine series…  Review One So there I was, laying on Shay Savage’s bed in a hotel room in Chicago with my friend Kristi, as one does upon meeting an author for the first time. It was early May, and rumor had it that the long awaited sequel to Surviving Raine was close to fruition. Shay whipped out her cell phone and showed us a picture of Sebastian Stark while Evan Arden made shots. You think I’m making this up don’t you? I have witnesses. Anyway, after a few drinks Shay offered to show us the synopsis to Bastian’s Storm. Uh, hell yes! Kristi and I bowed our heads together over Shay’s cell phone… Read more »

Tour Review: Broken Embrace by Dana Mason

Tour Review: Broken Embrace by Dana Mason

Broken Embrace is the third book in the Embrace series by Dana Mason and can be read as a stand alone. I read it as a stand alone. And you know what, I loved it. (Now would I love it more if I read the others, probably.) The characters in this book series are ones that you want as friends. I want to move to Santa Rosa and I want to me friends with Melissa and Ali. Broken Embrace wasn’t what I thought it was, so the plot and story twists and turns took me by surprise. This story discusses serious issues in society, issues that took me out of my comfort zone-in what some may consider a different reading genre, yet I devoured this book. In a day. And in a month that is probably my most busiest month of the year. Brian is happily married with two… Read more »

Tour Review and Giveaway: Crave by Violet Vaughn

Tour Review and Giveaway: Crave by Violet Vaughn

Crave is the first book I read by Violet Vaughn and I really enjoyed it. The premise is new to me and I like the idea of the story… A young woman looking for her ideal man, but realizing she has love right in front of her from the beginning. The story starts out really strong and hot. The chemistry and the ease of Jason and Casey’s relationship is present from the get go. Jason is HOT. Jason burns up the pages HOT. And Casey is a sexy little vixen when she’s with Jason. But Casey refuses to lead Jason on any more. They aren’t a couple anymore, yet Jason is always there when she needs him. Needing to be separated from Jason and her feelings and desires for him pushes Casey to follow her dream of being a ski instructor out west, so she moves to Colorado in search… Read more »

Review: Burn For Me by Lauren Blakely

Review: Burn For Me by Lauren Blakely

About BURN FOR ME: A sexy category romance novella from Entangled’s Brazen imprint… She’s the one fire he can’t put out… Jamie Lansing has had it bad for firefighter Smith Grayson for as long as they’ve been friends. Yes, he’s ridiculously charming and she might stare a little too long at his abs, but his dirty-talking, rough-around-the-edges ways aren’t for her. Plus, she knows that as a serial dater, Smith isn’t the type to settle down. But then a terrible, fantastic, mind-blowing mistake leaves her body craving more than one night. Smith Grayson has only ever had eyes for one woman in town–his best friend Jamie. But convincing her a relationship between them will work is next to impossible with her refusing to see beyond his past. But when she asks for a week of no-strings-attached sex to get him out of her system, Smith knows this is his one… Read more »
