OK, themes in New Adult books these days? I’ve done them all. Vampires and Werewolves.-check. Step-brothers/sisters.-check. Bad boy with the heart of gold.-check. The jock and good girl.-check. Teacher/student.-check. Lately I’ve enjoyed the friends to lovers books. My top read so far this summer that is friends to lovers, With a Twist by Staci Hart. We all have those “go-to” book friends. Well, one of my “go-to” friends PMed me a few weeks ago and said, check out this book. It’s sweet, and steamy, and I think you’d like it. I devoured it. This is my favorite kind of book. One that is sweet and just takes you away into another world. I completely fell in love with these characters. Completely. ALL of them. This circle of friends are series gold. I want to read each and every one of their stories. (And because I’m a stalker, I totally checked… Read more »

Wasted Wednesday? Not here!
Where has summer gone? If your summer is anything like my summer, I’m sorry. See, I love summer. I love the beach and the pool. I love BBQs and ice cream. I love endless, lazy days with a good book. But real life got in its way this summer. I run a camp in my “real life”. I used to love it, but as its grown and with parents hovering over each and every day, the fun was sucked right out of it this year. But, it’s over for this season. (Happy Dance!) And for the most part, it was successful. It stressed me the f*#k out, but now I have a few days left before I prep for the school year. I haven’t read much this summer. But I’m planning to highlight my favorite summer reads this week and next (with some giveaways too!). My favorite summer read? Wasted… Read more »
Michelle Review’s Before We Were Strangers by Renee Carlino
Michelle New is back with another MUST read! Pre-order is a MUST! See Michelle’s Review below. The ARC was through the publishers via NetGallery. This blurb was probably one of the most intriguing and captivating blurbs I’ve stumbled across. The moment I read it, this book became an obsession. I needed to read it, I had to. Matt has the career most photographers would kill for. Fifteen years, an esteemed position working for National Geographic and a Pulitzer Prize photo adorning his wall. But a career isn’t everything. Divorced and standing still in a city that moves at the speed of light, Matt is lost. Then one day it happens. He sees her. Grace. It has been fifteen years since he said ‘see you later’ and she’s just there. But then she’s gone. A moment where their eyes lock, recognition strikes and old feelings being to stir. Suddenly Matt’s world… Read more »
Release Day!!!! My Serenity by M Clarke
Excerpt When she pulled away to look at me, our eyes locked and thousands of emotions rocketed through me. I felt so much, almost too much for my heart to handle…for my body to control. My hands glided up her back, and the soft silky blouse lured me to rip it off her. Lacing through her hair with my hands, I gave in to the temptation I could no longer control and kissed her in madness. Josie kissed me back and her tongue swirled in hunger. I got hard when she rocked back and forth on me. I thought I could come just from this action alone. I wanted so much of Josie, but not here…not now. VIEW THE My Serenity Soundtrack (Lyrics by M. Clarke) HERE! About M Clarke Mary Ting resides in Southern California with her husband and two children. She enjoys oil painting and making jewelry…. Read more »

Katherine in Gold is the second installment of the Beachy Bride series. In this unique romance, we follow the story of Katherine and Holst. A tale of shaking off the past, embracing the future, and finding true love. **Can be read as a stand alone** REVIEW: This was a perfect summer read. Giveaway and Release Day Blitz for Hard to Let Go by Laura Kaye
“TOP PICK! Kaye brings her Hard Ink series to a spectacular conclusion that successfully wraps up the overarching mystery and brings closure to her compelling characters. Kaye really nails it with this awesome book and series!” ~RT Book Reviews EXCERPT: Taking a deep breath, Beckett knocked on the door. No answer. He turned the knob, and the door opened. “Go away,” came a strained voice. Beckett poked his head through the opening. Kat sat in a ball in the corner, her legs pulled up to her chest, her arms hugging herself tight. “Aw, Jesus, Beckett. Really?” Her face was splotchy and her eyes watery, though he didn’t see any tears. Ten-to-one she was going through some adrenaline letdown right now, too. Which no doubt made it all worse. That shit could fuck you up even when you were used to how it left you feeling drained and shaky, by how all… Read more »
Happy Release Day JA HUSS! Wasted Lust is releasing TODAY!
Jana’s FIVE Star Review My friends are writing glowing reviews for Wasted Lust. Tears, they say. I can’t finish my review without crying, they gush. Well, fuck. I can’t compete with that. I’m not a crybaby Smurf. There are no tears allowed in the sphere. Wasted Lust, in my mind at least, has been in the making since Slack. God. Slack. Let’s revisit, shall we? It was late 2013. I’d recently shown up on Julie’s doorstep, looking for Ford. “Hey, is Ford home?” “Who the hell are you?” “I’m Mrs. Ford Aston, Who the hell are you?” Oddly, this ended with me becoming Julie’s assistant. It doesn’t make sense to us either, in case you’re wondering. Anyway, that’s how it started and shortly after that Slack released. “Julie. This girl. She needs a book.” Visions of Sasha’s future babies were already dancing in my head. “Yeah, I don’t know about… Read more »

GIVEAWAY AND BLOG HOP: MEET ME IN THE DARK… This book is a top read for me.
This week NAA took place on a blog hop that focused on two of my all time favorite characters, Merc and Sydney. If you know me you know I claimed Merc a long time ago, it really was love a first read. The words that come out of his mouth, the way he works and how he gets anything he wants and will use whatever means possible to get it. I was so excited when JA told me she was bringing me MERC (I might have even begged for it). I love Sydney just as much something about a girl that don’t take no shit and can kick ass if needed. I feel like Sydney and I could be BFF even though I wanted to not like her cause she has MERC after all. MEET ME IN THE DARK is my top read of 2015! I love the characters,… Read more »
