Amy Marie was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago and now resides in Virginia Beach with her fantastically crazy husband and two kids.

As an avid reader, she never dreamed of writing her own novel until the characters started haunting her at night and in the shower. Wanting to get it down on paper she set off on a journey that has been more than she could have ever dreamed.

When not writing, she can be found carting her kids around, breaking up their fights, cleaning up messes, teaching Zumba, or reading.

Tour Review: Unexpected by Amy Marie

Unexpected is an unexpected, fun, witty read. My favorite kind of story is the happy, romantic story with some angst added in to make my stomach flutter and breath quicken. Unexpected has these ingredients yet has a few twists that separate it from others in this genre. Unexpected has a lot of unexpected plots. The title in itself can mean more than a few things and poor Erin’s life take a turn for the uncertain… in many ways. If you like some predictable twists and are a  fan of the oops baby, this is a good book for you. I love a good Ut-Oh baby moment…my online friends and I discuss different stories with the accidental baby in it all the time trying to argue or determine whether the author writes it well enough for us to love it, like it, or hate it.
