Where has summer gone? If your summer is anything like my summer, I’m sorry. See, I love summer. I love the beach and the pool. I love BBQs and ice cream. I love endless, lazy days with a good book. But real life got in its way this summer. I run a camp in my “real life”. I used to love it, but as its grown and with parents hovering over each and every day, the fun was sucked right out of it this year. But, it’s over for this season. (Happy Dance!) And for the most part, it was successful. It stressed me the f*#k out, but now I have a few days left before I prep for the school year. I haven’t read much this summer. I don’t know about you, but all my friends (teacher friends especially), ask me what they should read in the summer. I’m always looking for a good book, but there’s something about reading a good book in the summer that makes my day. I love Alessandra Torre! We’re good friends and my two favorite books by her are Black Lies and The Girl in 6 E. If you like my books I can almost guarantee you will like Alessandra too.
