GIVEAWAY and EXCERPT from Always Yours, Baby

GIVEAWAY and EXCERPT from Always Yours, Baby

Excerpt: She beamed, but it didn’t go all the way to her eyes like it normally would. There were lingering fingers of shadow along the edges that prickled his attention. “What?” “Does it feel different?” she asked. He hooked her hair with a finger and dragged them back behind her ear. “Does what feel different?” “Us,” she whispered. “I feel like it should feel different, but I feel the same.” He hummed quietly, knowing full well what she meant. “How do you want to feel?” “Like this,” she said immediately, eyes growing urgent. “I love the way I feel when I’m with you. I don’t ever want that to change. But I have been so scared for so long that I just … I wasn’t expecting to feel exactly how I always felt.” He let his fingers ghost along the elegant curve of her brow, down the lines of her… Read more »

$15 GIVEAWAY WITH SIGNED BOOKS: Two-Year Book Birthday-aversary of TRAGIC by JA Huss

DON’T FORGET TO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY BELOW FOR A CHANCE TO WIN TWO SIGNED COPIES OF TRAGIC (both covers) AND A $15 GIFT CARD What started innocently as one sexy new-adult book turned into a three-book series, a four book spin-off, and entire new series based on the spin-offs, a NYT bestseller, the darkest book I’ve ever written, and now, as we near the end of this amazing journey that started with one girl who took a chance on a guy in the smut business – the final book, Wasted Lust. When people ask me “What book did you write?” I don’t know what to say. I was asked this question in the Dallas airport last Sunday. I had some time to kill, so I was in this fancy purse store looking for gifts for my mother and daughter. They like fancy purses. As the salesperson was wrapping up my… Read more »

TRUST by Ella Frank – Review

TRUST by Ella Frank – Review

First and foremost, I’m so sad that this story has come to an end. Logan and Tate are two of my favorite characters ever. EVER. I have read hundreds of books, probably thousands of books, in a variety of genres, and these two men are among the few characters who will live with me forever. The end of their journey was rough. As they say, THE FEELS. Ella took a strong plot and spun it in a Tate and Logan web that was magical because it was the special story of these two characters and their love for one another. In the end, this is the culmination of a beautiful love story – a beautiful, sexy, hot as hell love story, but a truly beautiful love story. If you’re looking for a Happily Ever After, you’ve found one. The road is bumpy, and the destination isn’t traditional, but the trip… Read more »

Our weekend is BOOKED…Nic’s pick for a great weekend read!

Our weekend is BOOKED…Nic’s pick for a great weekend read!

TGIF… one thing we love here at NAA is reading over the weekend. Nothing  is better than being able to relax and one way to do that is with a great book and a glass of wine or even a bottle of wine! This weekend I will be relaxing with my favorite ladies in Vegas and hoping no one gets lost or arrested. It should be a great time. Nic’s pick this weekend is Hate F*@k: Part Three (The Horus Group Book 3) by Ainsley Booth. I love this series and adore Hailey and Cold and was excited to read more about the Horus Group. The cliffhanger in part one and part two were some of the best I have read this year, but I feel like Part three was rushed but still a great read. All the drama was handled so quickly. A huge in your face revelation about Amelia… Read more »

Tour Review: The Gentleman Mentor by Kendall Ryan

Tour Review: The Gentleman Mentor by Kendall Ryan

Kristi’s Review: I really enjoyed this story. It’s grasped my attention from page one. Under my direction and guidance, women learn seduction techniques, how to achieve climax with and without a partner, explore physical gratification, and more… Ahem… where do I sign up? This is a story about Brielle, a shy, beautiful woman wanting to seduce her best friend, but doesn’t know where to begin. She finds an ad for a Gentleman Mentor, who will, ahem, teach you all you need to know in the bedroom…and how to get what you want. I enjoyed the banter between “Dom” and Brielle right from the get-go. The email exchanges were one of my favorite things in the book and I only wish there was more. Brielle thoughts and questions are on every woman’s mind…or at least crossed every woman’s mind at one point. Am I flirting correctly? How do I get a… Read more »

$50 GIVEAWAY NEW RELEASE: Meet Me In The Dark (A Dark Suspense) by JA Huss

It’s finally here! The Merc Book! This is a standalone book, so if you are into the “dark” reads and have not read any other book by me, you can jump right in. I have two exclusive excerpts for you. One is here and one is on my author page. EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT “I’m waiting, bobcat,” he says. I cringe at the name. It’s so degrading. But I’m running on instincts now. The training has taken over and I’m powerless to stop it, even if I wanted to. And I don’t. So, “More, please,” is my response. “More what?” “Take it all, Case. You told me eight years ago you owned me. So take it. Take me. Take me the way you promised when you left me behind to die.” His hands are under my shoulders, urging me to sit up. I comply. Because that’s my job here tonight. And then… Read more »

Review: Tool by Sabrina Paige

Review: Tool by Sabrina Paige

OK, a few weeks ago I wrote a post about Stepbrother Romances, Yay or Nay. And I got a lot of (positive) feedback about the current theme in indie, new adult books. Well, since that post, I read two more stepbrother taboo books, and guess what… I loved them both. So hello bandwagon, I’m Kristi and I continue to enjoy these taboo love affairs. To read my post about the current trend of stepbrother romances, including Prick, also by Sabrina Paige, click here. I recently read the new release, Tool: A Stepbrother Romance, this past weekend and what can I say… it has all the goodies I love in these new adult books. 1. Hot, bad ass stepbrother 2. Smart, trendy heroine (the stepsister) 3. Chemistry and banter (love hate relationship, angst) 4. Hot sex (dirty, wet panties sex) 5. HEA I loved this book. I loved it so much my… Read more »

Review: ROCK by Kendall Grey

Review: ROCK by Kendall Grey

Holy flaming furburgers and disjointed dicks, this book – can I just tell you how much I love these characters? That’s the first important point, the members of Killer Buzz Float are freaking badass mofos that I want to spend some serious party-in-a-hotel-suite time with, hopefully when it’s one of their birthdays. They never get old. I could read 85 books about Letty, Shades, Eve, Rax, Jinx, and Toombs. They’re deep, well developed characters who are fun and funny, but who will jerk the emotions out of you like a dick on a short fuse. Second: Birthday Club. The first rule of Birthday Club is holy shit, Birthday Club. The second rule of Birthday Club is fuck yeah, Birthday Club. As if anyone needed a reason to party like it’s PornHub, the KBF crew make it their mission to make birthday wishes come true, including mine, because I so wanted… Read more »
