$15 GIVEAWAY and SNEAK PEAK COVER REVEAL: Meet Me In The Dark by JA Huss

$15 GIVEAWAY and SNEAK PEAK COVER REVEAL: Meet Me In The Dark by JA Huss

EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT I study his back as he flips some more pancakes. He’s hot. I didn’t want to tell him that the last time I thought about it. But there’s no denying. Merric Case gets what he wants because a) he doesn’t take no for an answer, b) he’s got the skills to back up his “requests”, and c) he’s handsome. He fills his plate, walks around the counter, and takes the barstool next to me. “Eat,” he says, pointing to my plate with a fork. A second later he’s stuffing his face. I take a bite, then a few more before gulping some juice and coming up for air. “Mmmm. It’s good.” “I know,” he says smugly. “I have two talents, Sydney Channing. Killing and cooking.” I nod and stare at my food. Right. “So do you want me to take you to the truck?” I take a bite… Read more »

Hard Knocks No Limits (A Novella) Holding Strong Tough Love Fighting Dirty Excerpt: Gaze softening, her attention went all over his body. “Seriously, Denver. Did you really want to argue right now?” He searched her face. “No.” Hell no. Especially not with her looking at him like that. He moved in again, one hand on the wall by her shoulder. “Thing is, I’m not sure you want what I want.” For the longest time, their gazes held while her breathing quickened and her cheeks warmed. Finally, in a whisper, she asked, “Do you want me?” With one short nod, he pressed her to the wall, feeling her all along his length. “Have for a long time.” “You hid it well.” “Then I’m one hell of an actor.” He brushed his mouth over her forehead. “We have a lot… Read more »

Happy ONE Year Anniversary to Guns by JA Huss

Happy ONE Year Anniversary to Guns by JA Huss

Any one who knows me, knows I love Spencer Shrike with a passion. I claimed him as my top book boyfriend over a year and a half ago… and one year ago today, Guns: The Spencer Book released. Julie gave me an ARC on my 28th birthday and I cried. I cried a lot through this book; because her characters became real to me. I fell in love with #theteam and wanted to be a part of their world. I wasn’t ready to say good-bye. The Rook and Ronin series and spin-offs also led to an online group of ladies, Julie’s street team, who became a family of friends throughout this series. I continue to interact with these ladies on a daily basis, many who I chit chat with on the phone, send funny texts, or simply PM. We are a close knit group of friends, all who came together… Read more »

A. MUST. READ… Need by KI Lynn and N. Isabelle Blanco

A. MUST. READ… Need by KI Lynn and N. Isabelle Blanco

Kristi’s Review: I don’t even know  how I can adequately put my thoughts into words that would remotely come close to telling you how much I freaking LOVED this book. Love—is an understatement. I devoured this book. I want to reread this book, already. I want each and every romance person out there to read this book. Brayden is such a dirty talker…and I loved every word. I heard a lot about this book from my book friends. So I one-clicked when it released. I’m digging the taboo reads lately, and if you follow this blog or our Facebook page, or know me from Shrike Bikes, you know I’m a fan of the step-brother trend in books. This is by far MY FAVORITE step-brother read to date. It’s a top read so far this year. It’s a top NA read, ever. So why did I wait to read this book?… Read more »

Our Weekend is BOOKED… our picks for a great weekend read!

Our Weekend is BOOKED… our picks for a great weekend read!

TGIF… one thing we love here at NAA is reading over the weekend. Nothing  is better than being able to relax on the comfy sofa with a good book and a steaming cup of coffee, or big full glass of wine, OK, a BOTTLE of wine. We thought it would be fun to give you a mini list of books and reviews in case you’re looking for a good book this weekend.   Kristi’s Pick: Getting Dirty by Mia Storm In this book, which is loosely based on the author’s own experiences– is a hot, forbidden  love tale. I love a book that features an older guy and a younger girl, and this didn’t  disappoint. How far would you go  for true love? How much would you risk? If you like this kind of taboo read, one-click this book and fall in love with Caiden and Blaire. To read the… Read more »

Jana’s Review of CODA by CD Reiss

Jana’s Review of CODA by CD Reiss

WHY I thought this was going to be a fluff piece, I do not know. I’ve read all the books, obviously. No one jumps in on book 9 if they haven’t read the first 8, unless they live in trollville. So I imagined we were getting a sweet little Happily Ever After with this final book. Two hundred pages of babies & puppies & and a rocking sex life in a magical land where babies never cry and no one argues over why the dog peed on the carpet again. Um, not so much. Nope. Coda is a real book. Gut wrenchingly real. Painfully real. Honestly real. And for that, thank you. Because we’ve all read the swan song finale books that are in the end, not that satisfying. Because we think we want 200 pages of unicorns, but when we get them, we end up kinda shrugging and saying,… Read more »

TOUR Review: Holding Strong by Lori Foster

TOUR Review: Holding Strong by Lori Foster

Kristi’s Thoughts… I need to begin with how much I loved, Loved, LOVED Lori Foster’s SBC series. I read them awhile ago, awhile ago meaning in paperback form, prior to my eReader. So I’ve been a fan for a long time. I was stoked to receive an ARC of this book and dove right in. Denver and Cherry are an explosive couple. If you’re a fan of insta-love and insta-lust, you will love this book. I think it was an instant pairing because I’m assuming in book one, there is build up, but since I didn’t read book one, I’m only guessing. I love an alpha man and Denver is about as alpha and controlling as they come. Cherry has a shady past and when that past resurfaces— Denver stakes his claim and wants to protect her from any harm. If I’m honest, this isn’t my favorite Lori Foster book,… Read more »

Giveaway and Happy Release Day Mia Storm! Getting Dirty is finally HERE!

Giveaway and Happy Release Day Mia Storm! Getting Dirty is finally HERE!

Dirty A poem by Blaire Leon If sex is dirty, why would I do it with someone I love? If sex is dirty, then didn’t we all come from the dirt? What if I like the dirt? What if I want to get dirty? What if I want to roll in the mud until I’m so fucking filthy that I’ll never be clean again? When twenty-five-year-old graduate assistant Caiden Brenner asked Blaire Leon how old she was, she said she was a senior. He chose to believe she meant in college. They connect over Lord Byron’s Don Juan and, as their conversations become increasingly thicker with sexual innuendo, Caiden finds himself obsessing over a totally off-limits undergrad who’s bold, beautiful, brilliant, and one of the most passionate poets he’s ever met. But it turns out Blaire hasn’t been totally honest. She’s the seventeen-year-old valedictorian of her high school class, taking courses at Sierra… Read more »
