He stares at me in the elevator, waiting for me to say something. I nervously keep my eyes forward, trying not to catch his reflection, but it’s pointless in the mirrored elevator. Struggling to suppress the smile pulling the corners of my mouth, I pucker my lips when I catch myself glimpsing his well landscaped body. My heart slams my ribs with fear and admittedly, a little pleasure. Frozen in place, I finally swallow the deluge of saliva building in my mouth. “About my car, my friend drove me here and she’s waiting for me outside.” He hasn’t taken his eyes off me, but they narrow as he tips his head to the side. “Yeah, I saw it last night when the valet guys brought me the keys. It’s safe.” Tilting my head down, I dart my eyes left and right. “So…um…can I get them?” “They’re in the office.” I… Read more »

$10 GIVEAWAY and a SIGNED copy of Black by T.L. Smith
“They say I bring nothing but black, darkness. Though, when I’m with you, all I see is color, and fuck, it’s the best thing I’ve ever seen, Rose,” he says from between my breasts. I reach for my shirt and pull it free, then unclasp my bra. His head lifts while I do this, then he lays right back between them. His breath is heavy and hot on my nipple. My body shakes, excitement fills me. He does this to me, puts all the right emotions back into me. How could someone with what they say is a black soul do such things to another human being? He isn’t what they say, not when he’s with me. He’s nothing but good, caring, and even loveable when he’s with me. “I’m going to claim you, Rose,” he whispers and his mouth touches my nipple softly, making me squirm. He licks it,… Read more »
$10 GIVEAWAY and SIGNED PAPERBACK by Bethany Lopez
“Who the fuck are you?” I whipped my head up as I was shoving the camera back in my purse, and saw a strange man standing by a rehabbed old Camaro, smoking a cigarette. “Uh … a friend of Clarice’s. I was just using the bathroom,” I managed, not sure who the guy was, or what my next move should be. “Yeah?” he asked, throwing his cigarette to the ground and taking a step toward me. “You need a camera to do that?” Shit. Before he could make another move, I secured my bag on my shoulder, turned and took off like a shot. I hit Main Street, cursing myself for wearing the damn boots when the sound of a motorcycle pulling up along side of me caused me to turn my head. My first thought was, where the hell did the bike come from? Then I realized it wasn’t… Read more »
Cover Reveal SURPRISE! Bend Me, Break Me by Chelsea M. Cameron
TEASER: “I get it,” she said. “I finally get it.” She wouldn’t look up at me, instead concentrating on her hands. There were a few freckles on the backs of them. I wanted to take one of her purple pens and connect them to make constellations on her skin. “Get what?” I asked. Her eyes came up to my face. “Why you’re so obsessed with me.” I raised both eyebrows, but inside, I was panicked. What if she figured me out? That would be disastrous. It would be the end. “And why is that?” I said, trying to be playful. “I’m mysterious,” she said, she wiggled her fingers in front of my face and the right side of her mouth drew up. Was that a smirk? Did Ingrid just smirk at me? “Oh, is that what you think it is?” After so many intense moments, this moment of levity was… Read more »
Never Tear Us Apart by Monica Murphy
This book gave me all the feels. Once it arrived on my Kindle, and discovered what it is really about, I was at first hesitant to read this story. It’s a bit darker than my usual read, but the execution of the chapters captivated my attention. Told in dual POV, from past and present times, I felt that I became a part of this story. I was right there with Katie at the amusement park when she was 12, I was right there with Will when he was talking to the detective and understanding what monster his father really is, and right there when the past catches up to their future. Throughout the book I was rooting for both Katherine and Ethan. I was desperate for her to put the pieces together, to truly feel who Ethan is, and understand why the secrecy of his identity was a much… Read more »

$25 GIVEAWAY- Cheaters Anonymous by Lacey Silks
“What the hell is that?” The new patient in the ER had an erection almost the size of a man’s arm. It tented the sheet covering him, and I thanked my lucky stars that I wasn’t on the front lines in the triage area. I could still hear the giggles from behind a curtain. “This one’s yours, Jules. I’m not touching that with a ten-foot pole.” My co-worker and best friend’s humor didn’t escape me. The two of us were working the graveyard shift, and from the look of it, Chris was not going to help. In fact, bringing all the nurses’ attention to the patient may have only hindered any progress. Fortunately, she decided to leave. “I’m pretty sure I have a patient who needs an enema. I think I’d rather work that end than the one you’ll be working on.” I highly doubted that. Chris worked the male… Read more »
$25 GIVEAWAY- End of Day by Jewel E. Ann
For the second day in a row, AJ stood on her front door stoop wearing a pissed-off expression that somehow excluded his eyes, which took liberty with her body in ways that both exhilarated and frightened her. “How stupid do you really think I am?” Jillian narrowed her eyes, lips twisted to the side. “Well, given your high military ranking I would have said average to normal intelligence, but since you decided to incessantly ring my doorbell like a five-year-old doped up on sugar, I’m now inclined to say somewhere between borderline deficiency in intelligence and feeble-mindedness.” “I have an IQ of one-twenty-two. Where’s your husband?” He stepped into the house, forcing Jillian to retreat. She loved watching his whole body tense as his strong chest heaved with each wrathful breath. “You tell me, Sherlock. Where is my husband?” Jillian rooted herself in place. She vowed that no man was… Read more »
