Through Glass is my kind of book. It’s dark, it’s gritty, it’s real, and not everyone lives. This story is a new adult, post-apocalyptic, dystopian, SF, mystery, horror… LOL… it’s got a bit of all the dark stuff in it, and I loved it. First of all, it’s got one of the best blurbs I’ve ever read. This book hooked me right away with the description, it was awesome. Secondly, even though it’s written in first person and we only get the main heroine’s point of view, Rebecca really did a great job distinguishing between Alexis and Cohen. Both survive a pretty horrific end-of-the-world scenario, but we don’t find out how differently each of them coped—despite being right next door, they could not communicate except through their bedroom windows—until much later in the book.
