$50 GIVEAWAY and COVER REVEAL: Wasted Lust by JA Huss

$50 GIVEAWAY and COVER REVEAL: Wasted Lust by JA Huss

EXCERPT JAX “Let’s talk about kissing.” “What,” Sasha laughs. “Kissing?” I smile with her. Both at her willingness to drop the topic of money and where it comes from and her pleasure at the new topic. “Specifically, the kisses we’ve shared.” “We haven’t shared any kisses, Agent Jax.” But she says it with a sly grin as she lifts the glass of Tokay and takes a sip. I watch her throat as she swallows, and then wish I could lick the sweet sheen of sugar left over on her lips before her tongue darts out to swipe it away. I scoot closer to her on the curve of the bench and while she remains seated in her spot, her upper body instinctively pulls back from my approach. “You liked it though.” “I didn’t actually,” she says. Her pupils are dilating before my eyes and her breathing picks up a notch…. Read more »

How the hell am I supposed to think clearly with Hendrix standing in front of me, water glistening on his bare chest? “Don’t say what?” he asks, his voice low. “That my fingers were down your panties? Would you rather I say that I was touching your pussy?” “Hendrix,” I whisper. “You can’t talk to me like that.” “Or what?” His mouth is close to my ear, and he trails one finger up my arm and traces the outline of my shoulder before he slowly runs it up the… Read more »

DON’T FORGET TO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY BELOW FOR A CHANCE TO WIN TWO SIGNED COPIES OF TRAGIC (both covers) AND A $15 GIFT CARD What started innocently as one sexy new-adult book turned into a three-book series, a four book spin-off, and entire new series based on the spin-offs, a NYT bestseller, the darkest book I’ve ever written, and now, as we near the end of this amazing journey that started with one girl who took a chance on a guy in the smut business – the final book, Wasted Lust. When people ask me “What book did you write?” I don’t know what to say. I was asked this question in the Dallas airport last Sunday. I had some time to kill, so I was in this fancy purse store looking for gifts for my mother and daughter. They like fancy purses. As the salesperson was wrapping up my… Read more »

TOUR Review: Under the Influence by L.B. Simmons

TOUR Review: Under the Influence by L.B. Simmons

Kristi’s Review: I’ve read this author before, and this book is a different read from her…and while it’s not my favorite, I highly enjoyed it. I really liked getting to know these two characters and the paths their lives took them on. Years ago, Dalton and Spencer meet and the connection is instant, but friendship is all that they allow themselves to have. Dalton is the older, bad-boy with the heart of gold who pines for Spencer, protecting her for afar. He allows just so much connection in the form of friendship, but Spencer is drawn to him, there’s chemistry and she finds herself totally captivated by him. I am an angst whore and I wanted more build up, more angst, more pining. I do love the secondary characters, especially Cassie who helps Spencer make Dalton confront his emotions and true feelings. Once these two admit their feelings, their connection… Read more »

GIVEAWAY & Happy Release Day— All Played Out by Cora Carmack

GIVEAWAY & Happy Release Day— All Played Out by Cora Carmack

EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT I groan, and flip the page in my spiral so I won’t have to look at the words anymore. Starting small with the alcohol had been a wise decision. Perhaps I should do the same with other big items on my list. But how did one get smaller than sex and hooking up? I couldn’t just put “kiss.” I’d done that before, and a few more kisses weren’t going to make any difference in my confidence when it came to sex. Really, it’s the unknown that bothers me. Not just on this list, but in everything. So maybe that’s what I need to get used to. I skip to the bottom of my list and add … 17. Kiss a stranger I tap my pen against the page, surveying the words, and decide that kissing a stranger is a good stepping-stone. Then a voice comes from over my… Read more »

Review: Tool by Sabrina Paige

Review: Tool by Sabrina Paige

OK, a few weeks ago I wrote a post about Stepbrother Romances, Yay or Nay. And I got a lot of (positive) feedback about the current theme in indie, new adult books. Well, since that post, I read two more stepbrother taboo books, and guess what… I loved them both. So hello bandwagon, I’m Kristi and I continue to enjoy these taboo love affairs. To read my post about the current trend of stepbrother romances, including Prick, also by Sabrina Paige, click here. I recently read the new release, Tool: A Stepbrother Romance, this past weekend and what can I say… it has all the goodies I love in these new adult books. 1. Hot, bad ass stepbrother 2. Smart, trendy heroine (the stepsister) 3. Chemistry and banter (love hate relationship, angst) 4. Hot sex (dirty, wet panties sex) 5. HEA I loved this book. I loved it so much my… Read more »

On the dance floor, the energy picked up as the geezers began to move to the faster beat. “Let’s go,” I said, standing up. I offered Bella my hand. But Bella shook her head. Even worse, she scooted her chair toward the wall. “Don’t leave me hanging,” I said, my hand still waiting in the air. “Come on now. Nobody… Read more »
