$100 GIVEAWAY – Happily Ever After by JA Huss

99c sale for the Rook & Ronin Trilogy: AMAZON➔ http://amzn.to/1iy1YlM B&N➔ http://bit.ly/1yCS1dC KOBO➔http://bit.ly/1U16itZ   I ease out of the room quietly and take the baby downstairs. The house is big and the kitchen is far, but I can hear the bustle of kids and dogs before I even make it downstairs. When I walk in, it’s a madhouse. I love this fucking madhouse. My girls are all laughing and talking a mile a minute. Belle is stuffing her face with pancakes, Jasmine and Ariel are clinking their OJ glasses together like they are having a secret toast, and Rory is… I squint my eyes at Rory. She’s talking to Five, but that’s not what makes me squint my eyes. She’s wearing a Shrike Trikes t-shirt and sweat pants, but it’s the way… it’s the shape of her… “Daddy,” Rory squeals, getting up from her stool at the breakfast bar and… Read more »

Bomb and Guns…why Spencer Shrike is my top Book boyfriend

Bomb and Guns…why Spencer Shrike is my top Book boyfriend

This week NAA took place in a blog hop that focused on Spencer Shrike and Veronica Vaughn. Here’s my final thoughts and recap…. bear with me…After all, Spencer is the one for me! I’m 100% invested in ALL the characters from the Rook and Ronin series. I’m so invested that I’ve become fully delusional in my love affair with my (now) number one book boyfriend-of all time. Bomb is a novella about said book boyfriend, Spencer Shrike. I’ve waited months to get my hands on this book. I claimed Spencer Shrike as my top 2013 book boyfriend months ago after I read the Rook and Ronin series, all three in a week. He was such a charmer in those books that I was beyond delighted when the author told me she was planning a book just for Spencer. It made me have a girl crush on her and I happily… Read more »

Happy ONE Year Anniversary to Guns by JA Huss

Happy ONE Year Anniversary to Guns by JA Huss

Any one who knows me, knows I love Spencer Shrike with a passion. I claimed him as my top book boyfriend over a year and a half ago… and one year ago today, Guns: The Spencer Book released. Julie gave me an ARC on my 28th birthday and I cried. I cried a lot through this book; because her characters became real to me. I fell in love with #theteam and wanted to be a part of their world. I wasn’t ready to say good-bye. The Rook and Ronin series and spin-offs also led to an online group of ladies, Julie’s street team, who became a family of friends throughout this series. I continue to interact with these ladies on a daily basis, many who I chit chat with on the phone, send funny texts, or simply PM. We are a close knit group of friends, all who came together… Read more »

FRIDAY NIGHT FREEBIE: The BOMB of all Giveaways!

FRIDAY NIGHT FREEBIE: The BOMB of all Giveaways!

EDIT: I’m posting this early this week because I’m out of town for Indie Girl Con and I don’t want to rely on scheduling to make sure the contest runs properly.    Ends Sunday at Midnight MST. Tonight is the last giveaway for my new release BOMB: A Day in the Life of Spencer Shrike, so I’m really gonna make it count!  This prize is huge, and since it’s so big I do have a mandatory entry.  I don’t usually do the mandatory entry, but I figure I’m justified for this one.  But just so we’re all on the same page, I’m gonna explain why I’m asking you do to this. If you have a Facebook page, not a personal page, but a book blog page or some other type of “business or community” page, you know Facebook has pretty much stolen all your “LIKES” right out from under you…. I’m not following you.” She looks over at me and scowls. “You have class here in this building at seven AM? Not likely. There’s only one class in here and it’s by invitation only,” she says with an air of superiority as she begins walking again. I walk again too, then smile at her when she checks to see if I’m still following. “I’ve been invited, don’t worry.” This makes her stop and whirl around to face me. “You’re in my class?” “I am,” I say smugly. “I’m a transfer from DU. I major in business, but I take art on the side.” “Oh.” She… Read more »

GIVEAWAY and EXCERPT: The Ford Book Cover Reveal by JA Huss

GIVEAWAY and EXCERPT: The Ford Book Cover Reveal by JA Huss

EXCERPT – CHAPTER ONE Click. Click. Click. That’s my shoes on the stone steps in the Chaput Building. I listen for a call. Or maybe even an echo, telling me that another pair of shoes are behind me. But I get nothing. Not even sounds from the New Year’s Eve party up on the fourth floor leak out. Just nothing. My steps are quick when I begin, but now that I’m nearing the door to the basement they are slow. I finish my escape more confused than I’ve ever been in my life. I told her. I want her. But she belongs to Ronin. You will not look back, you will not look back. That’s what I tell myself the entire way down. But of course, when I’m a few paces from the garage door, I do look up. All the way up to the fourth floor where that dark… Read more »
