Book One in the NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY bestselling series.
“Sometimes letting someone go is the ultimate act of love.”
Claire Nixon is a college student with a past full of secrets and heartbreak. At seven years old, the death of her mother by drug overdose destroys her faith in humanity and herself as she is tossed from one foster home to another. Feeling unwanted and disposable, she fights to keep herself safe in the system. Until, at the age of fifteen, she is saved by her first love, and soon-to-be rock star, Chris Knight and his mother, who quickly becomes the mother she always wanted.
When Claire encourages Chris to leave town to pursue his dreams of musical stardom, both Claire and Chris don’t realize this will be the biggest mistake of their lives.
One year after Chris leaves on tour, Claire has carved out a new life for herself in a new city far away from the life she left behind with Chris. On a fateful morning, she meets sexy surfer Adam Parker.
To Claire, Adam is just another flirty customer at the cafe, until a chance encounter and seemingly innocent comment spurs a bet between them. The bet is simple: If Adam can get Claire to reveal the secret that made her drop out of college and leave her life behind, she has to re-enroll. If he doesn’t succeed, she gets to keep her secret and he has to stop stalking her at the cafe.
Claire thinks she has this one in the bag. She’s perfected the art of forgetting her past. But she isn’t prepared for Adam’s relentless pursuit or for him to share his own secrets. And she’s definitely not prepared for the love of her life, Chris Knight, and her secret, to come banging down her door one year later.

Ariella Holstein
Love triangle yes I love to read them but also depends on how it’s written.
Shelly Ford
I love the love triangle if it’s written really well. It has to have the right amount of angst!
Tonya Schenck
Yes, I guess. I just love both guys and it’s so hard to choose!!

I can go either way on a love triangle. I haven’t read this series yet so I can’t say about this but I did just buy the 1st 2 books and can’t wait to dive in.
Nancy Henderson
I’m on the fence…can go either way. It’s a love/hate relationship with love triangles. I think they made great stories…but they are so ipad smashing…pencil stabbing in the eye…makes for frustrated and crazy.
Thanks for the giveaway. You rock.

You know, I’m really not a huge fan of love triangles. Usually, they just annoy me. However, I’ve heard such great things about this series, I’m willing to give it a shot.
Thanks for the chance! (:

I really do love the triangles! Thanks for the giveaway, sweetie!

Usually not very big on love triangles, but it definitely depends on the writer, and on the story itself!
Venetiaffxi
Lots of times I don’t think writers write about love triangles to make them very appealing or at least where they are so predictable. I think it’s a hard line because it isn’t easy to make something like a love triangle seem new or like its never been done before. But if it is done correctly I don’t see why it wouldn’t work out! It’s just like a swoon scene either it’s like every other kiss you’ve read about or it makes your toes curl and warm your belly just reading about it?

I do like love triangles. It’s fun to guess who will end up with who.
Linsanityy
Honestly, I really really do NOT like love triangles at all haha. But maybe this one won’t be too bad?
Lea Jerančič

I have a love hate thing with love triangles but if all involved get a HEA then I’m happy with it.
PAULA MARIE
It depends but I really like this love triangle story. I mean, it’s not really a love triangle if ya think about it. This story is really good. I personally don’t like a love triangle that’s so messy. I have read one and though I liked the series, I don’t like how messy it became.
Tammy
I don’t mind a love triangle as long as it’s good.
Deb Liu
I don’t really like a love triangle because that means someone always loses.
andieleah
I don’t like when they drag it out too much
kimlrkim
Some love triangles are okay. It all depends on how they work out.
Thank you for the giveaway.

I don’t like love triangles b/c someone (or sometimes two people) always ends up hurt and heart broken
