The Dirty, Dark & Deadly series is like an onion. Just when you think you get it – you know what’s going on and who’s on who’s side and what everyone’s motives are – JA Huss peels back another layer of OMG, and you realize, you didn’t know squat. I typically go for the more traditional romance stories, but the story of James and Harper really got me in the feels. Oh, it wasn’t sappy in the least. But, it demonstrated how, even the most hardened people can find love with the right person. And, it introduced me to teenage Sasha, a.k.a. Assassin Smurf, who we will be getting to know even better in a very short time…
