Series: Bad Habits, #2
Published on October 15, 2015
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Romance Everyone knows you should never say never.
Cooper Moore never saw Maggie Williams coming. She was just his best friend’s little sister, the curly-haired, freckle-faced girl from Mississippi who was absolutely off limits. And he never thought about her any other way — not until he saw her that night, broken and brave. From that moment on, he knew he’d do whatever it took to protect her, even if it meant he had to stay away.
Maggie never expected to find her fiancé banging her maid of honor an hour before she was set to walk down the aisle, but life’s funny that way. The only option to save her sanity is to get the hell out of Jackson and move to New York where her brother lives. The only downside: Cooper is there too. And she just doesn’t know if she can stay away from him — the filthy rich, dead sexy playboy who’s allergic to commitment.
The second Maggie sees him again, she realizes he’ll be impossible to resist. Luckily, commitment is the last thing on her mind, and Cooper is the perfect escape. As long as she can keep her heart in check, everything will be just fine. Because she can never have feelings for him. Or at least that’s what she’ll keep telling herself.
Chaser is a standalone romantic comedy and book 2 of the Bad Habits series.

I’ve been waiting for this book for what seems like months, when in reality, about 6 weeks. If you haven’t met the Bad Habits crew, you should. Like, right now, go one click book one, West and Lily’s story. It’s called With a Twist, and I’m giving away an eCopy over on the Facebook page here.
I fell in hardcore love with Staci Hart in August after reading With a Twist. It was the PERFECT beach read for me, and I devoured every word. When I received an ARC of Chaser, I literally did a happy dance, squealed, and thanked Staci in a short, fan girl PM via Facebook.
Cooper Moore is the epitome billionaire heart throb we all love in books, only he’s not arrogant (which is so refreshing). Sure he is charming, witty, and funny. And sure he’s sex on a stick, make your panties wet, kinda book boyfriend, but what I loved about him most in this installment— is how smitten he is with Maggie (SWOON, Swoon, swoon).

Maggie is West’s sister. (Did I forget to mention that West is Cooper’s very best friend?) Maggie is on the rebound from a devastating breakup and looking for no strings fun. Cooper is the perfect guy for her wants…he’s a certified bachelor, ladies man, celebrity! What she doesn’t want is to enter a relationship, which will only lead to heartache and suffering. But how can she resist Cooper and his heart warming affections? When Cooper puts his mind on something, he’s not about to back down. So when he puts his heart on the line, you can bet he’s not about to give up the chase for the grand prize.

The Bad Habits crew is back again, and I loved my time visiting with Rose, Tricky, West and Lily. I loved the extra time with Astrid!!! I loved getting to know Cooper more and his determination to want to be a better man for Maggie. He is SO much more than what I was expecting!!! I love Cooper Moore! And I promise, you will too.

This book has it all… It’s a “falling in love with my brother’s best friend” and “billionaire” love story wrapped up into one amazing read. It’s funny, sweet, and most of all…entertaining. It’s the perfect rainy day weekend book. Now I can’t wait to get more information on book 3… because Rose and Patrick need their story told. Please giveme, giveme, giveme!
Chaser is a standalone novel in the Bad Habits series. To fully experience the awesomeness of this circle of friends, I suggest (and HIGHLY recommend) you check out With a Twist first. For my review and thoughts on With a Twist, click here.
A big thank you to Staci Hart for not only letting me escape in her words, but to allow me the opportunity to read an advance copy. I just loved it. Also, a big thank you to Michelle New, who recommended With a Twist this past summer—and for introducing me to the gang at Habits!
