Genres: Chick Lit, Contemporary, Romance My childhood was perfect.
I’ve led a charmed life, and I’m not going to blow it now
by picking the wrong guy.
I’ve got my sights set on my brother’s best friend.
He’s known my family for years. He’s reliable and kind and handsome.
Sure, he’s been avoiding me since I was six.
I’m a bit aggressive for him, maybe.
But he’s the one… right?

Right is the best kind of book in my opinion. Lately, I’ve been in a book funk. I haven’t had that one book that I can’t put down and have a smile on my face the entire time I read it… until Right landed on my kindle.
In my busy, stressful life, there’s nothing better than sipping (OK chugging) some wine with a good book in my hands. On most days I barely have the strength to fold the laundry sitting pretty in my dryer, and the last thing I want is to read a book that will make me sad or emotionally stressed out. Right is the PERFECT book. It is SOOOO RIGHT.

Everly is this boisterous, witty, and adorable female character who I fell in love with from page one. She made me smile so hard my cheeks hurt. I connected with her immediately and she took me on a ride that let me truly escape the chaos of the daily grind. I laughed out loud to the point I was repeating lines to my husband, who in turn snickered with amusement.

The lead male made my insides gooey as I swooned and fell in love with him as much as Everly did. He’s direct, sexy, humorous and adventurous in the best ways. The banter between these two charming characters will make you snicker and fall in love with this story.

One of the top reasons I enjoy reading romance is that once in awhile I get to escape and relive first loves. The feelings new love evoke, the emotions between lovers and friends, and the anticipation of first dates and next mornings. This story gave me butterflies, it gave me all the breathless sighs, it gave me giggles as well as tears. Right did what all books want from readers, it gave me the feels. All of them. Repeatedly.

I’m a huge fan of Ms. Aston’s first book, Wrong. for many reasons, but Right is a book that I read cover to cover with a bottle of red in one sitting and can’t wait to reread it tomorrow. It’s simply the best kind of book to help cope with a busy, stressful day…it’s the perfect escape.
