Genres: Chick Lit, Contemporary, New Adult, Romance Nora Kincaid has one goal for her second year of college: be invisible. Last year’s all-party-no-study strategy resulted in three failed classes and two criminal charges, and if she messes up again she’ll lose her scholarship. But there’s one problem with her plan for invisibility, and his name is Crosbie Lucas: infamous party king, general hellraiser…and her new roommate’s best friend.
Crosbie’s reckless reputation and well-known sexcapades aren’t part of Nora’s studious new strategy, but as she’s quickly learning, her new plan is also really boring. When Crosbie’s unexpected gestures of friendship pull her head out of her books long enough to see past his cocky veneer, she’s surprised to find a flawed and funny guy beneath it all. The muscles don’t hurt, either.
But as Nora starts to fall for Crosbie, the weight of one of last year’s bad decisions grows even heavier. Because three failing grades and two misdemeanors are nothing compared to the one big secret she’s hiding…

I picked Undecided up on a total whim. It was suggested by Amazon after I was looking at another book. I’m not going to lie, it caught my eye because I thought it may be about a triangle. (I secretly love a good triangle book when I’m in the mood.) It is NOT a love TRIANGLE story. I repeat, it’s not a triangle love story. What it is, is a PERFECT combination of charming characters, angst int he best way, and witty banter throughout this new adult story. When I started the first chapter, I couldn’t put down. I was hooked.
No. Seriously, I literally couldn’t put this book down. I loved every word. I loved each and every character (from Nora to Crosbie to the secondary characters I grew to love). I loved the setting (college romance is the BEST) and plot (second chance at doing better in school and with relationships). It was simply an addictive story and I beg you to pick it up for yourselves.
It’s been a while since I wrote a review. Longer since I found a new adult book that captured my attention, and nestled itself in my book heart library. My life is at an all time busy high. I had to take a day off from teaching to prepare for my second job, and one-clicked this baby on a whim while taking a break. This was the BEST one-click decision I ever made. And I devoured it. I started it at 9pm and at 12:30am, I forced myself to sleep with a xanax and a quick PM to a book friend to get her to read it too. Afterall, I NEEDED others to read this, I needed to share the love of the amazingness (yes, I know it’s not a word but should be) of this story. It is a MUST READ for all New Adult lovers.
This book is about second chances. Who doesn’t regret one thing (ok many things) they did and wanted a do over? Nora is trying to boost her grades in college to keep her scholarship after a year of partying and hook ups. Her new roommate is trying to improve his grades too. Only thing is he’s one of the biggest players at school. Kellan is a track star, with a love of girls on the side. His best friend is Crosbie, who also has a reputation with the ladies, is hanging around and a friendship begins. Nora soon learns all studying and no social life is pretty boring. Will Nora learn how to balance having fun and doing well in school? Will she open her heart and mind to new possibilities and new friendships? This book has it all…everything that makes you smile when reading. It’s captivating and delightful in every way.
I can not stress to you HOW much I enjoyed reading this book. I want more. I may have PM the author and asked…what’s next? This book needs a bigger audience and I ask that you give it a chance. I want everyone to read this!!! Julianna Keyes is now a top author of mine. Undecided was the best 2016 decision I had so far. Not only a top read this year, but possibly a top favorite book of all time! Fingers crossed my patience holds out.
I’m going to either re-read this book now, or one-click every other book Julianna Keyes has published. Yes, this book made me obsessed! I need more.
I’m gifting an eCopy over on our Facebook page! Go enter.

Wonderful review! I agree college settings are so fun, and I like stories about redemption.

Thank you for saying it isn’t a love triangle novel! The cover totally gives me the impression that it is and that is such an automatic pass for me when it comes to NA novels. But…phew…it sounds great, I hope to pick it up sometime soon!

It’s a must…and rumor has it, she’s thinking of changing the cover b/c of the misconception:) It’s on my top list of books to read, not only for this year, but EVER!
