TEASER: “I get it,” she said. “I finally get it.” She wouldn’t look up at me, instead concentrating on her hands. There were a few freckles on the backs of them. I wanted to take one of her purple pens and connect them to make constellations on her skin. “Get what?” I asked. Her eyes came up to my face. “Why you’re so obsessed with me.” I raised both eyebrows, but inside, I was panicked. What if she figured me out? That would be disastrous. It would be the end. “And why is that?” I said, trying to be playful. “I’m mysterious,” she said, she wiggled her fingers in front of my face and the right side of her mouth drew up. Was that a smirk? Did Ingrid just smirk at me? “Oh, is that what you think it is?” After so many intense moments, this moment of levity was… Read more »

Review: The Score by Elle Kennedy
What can I say… I love this series. In fact, it’s one of my favorite new adult series. I fell in love with these characters in book 1, The Deal, and my heart grew bigger after reading the The Mistake. In The Score, we get a glimpse into Dean’s life. The big man on campus, he’s a self declared hottie who likes to have sex. Lots and lots of sex, with lots and lots of different ladies. Allie is Hannah’s roomie. (Hannah is Garrett’s girlfriend from The Deal.) She is the typical college good girl. She likes relationships. She likes to be close to home to help her dad. She likes honesty and commitment. When she breaks up with her boyfriend of many years, she needs an escape. A physical place to get away to think things through and where no one can track her down. Allie ends up trying… Read more »
Never Tear Us Apart by Monica Murphy
This book gave me all the feels. Once it arrived on my Kindle, and discovered what it is really about, I was at first hesitant to read this story. It’s a bit darker than my usual read, but the execution of the chapters captivated my attention. Told in dual POV, from past and present times, I felt that I became a part of this story. I was right there with Katie at the amusement park when she was 12, I was right there with Will when he was talking to the detective and understanding what monster his father really is, and right there when the past catches up to their future. Throughout the book I was rooting for both Katherine and Ethan. I was desperate for her to put the pieces together, to truly feel who Ethan is, and understand why the secrecy of his identity was a much… Read more »
TOUR EXCERPT and GIVEAWAY: Reaper’s Fall by Joanna Wylde
“You want to watch a movie or something?” she asked, nodding toward the TV. I had a decent one, too. Giant-ass flat-screen—homecoming present from the club. “Sure,” I said, reaching for the remote. I didn’t have cable, but Ruger had set up some kind of box thingie for me so I could stream shit. “Whatcha in the mood for?” “Not horror,” she said quickly, and I laughed again, remembering that first evening I’d spent with her at Pic’s house. She’d been so young and scared and vulnerable . . . I’d wanted to eat her up. I still wanted to eat her. “I can’t believe that you and Puck were supposed to be watching over me, and then you put in a slasher movie. That’s not how you make a girl feel safe.” “No horror,” I agreed, although the thought of holding her for a couple hours while she was… Read more »
CRUSH by Kim Karr is LIVE!!!
✯ ✯ ✯ ✯ ✯ The danger isn’t over. It’s only just begun. Circumstances brought them together and their undeniable connection won’t let them part. But when the past and the present collide, emotions run high—things are said, lines are crossed, and rules are broken. Both focused on crushing the enemy, the retribution is almost too much to bear. Still, there’s no undoing what has already been done, and every action has a consequence. He loves her and she loves him, but love isn’t a shield. Sometimes your only choice is the one you’d rather not make. Pushed to the limit, the tainted love of Logan and Elle is in jeopardy. With outside forces driving a wedge between them, they have to dig deep within their souls to release the ghosts of their pasts, and fight even harder for what neither knew they needed—each other. Can love really… Read more »
Reapers Fall Excerpt by Joanna Wylde
Mel, You know, I write these fuckin’ letters to you, but they’re fake. I ask about your friends and your school and whether you’re meeting people. It’s bullshit, Mel. Here’s my reality. Yesterday I stabbed someone before he could stab me. Puck and I sold some shit to a bunch of white supremacists and we turned around and sold the same damned thing to some Mexicans. We had pudding with our dinner for dessert. Then I jacked off three times thinking about you. Those are the highlights. Like a fairy tale, right? Remembering you keeps me going, which makes no fucking sense at all. I hardly touched you. I still think about what you smelled like when you sat next to me on the couch, though. You were just this little thing and you shivered under my arm. I know you were scared of the movie and I could’ve picked something… Read more »

Author Note: You’re going to notice that the cover doesn’t say CD Reiss. It has a real first name, and it’s a name I’ve always been grateful to have. I’ve discovered that The Submission Series is considered quite dark and scary to some readers. I didn’t realize that when I wrote it. I was just turning myself on. So, in the interests of making it easy for new readers to separate the lighter from the darker, I’ll be using a full first name on some of my new work. CD Reiss will be the darker stuff. Everything from Submission… Read more »
