Author: Audrey Harte
A self-published author of romantic and erotic fiction, Audrey Harte released her first book, Love in All the Wrong Places, on April 10th, 2013 and the sequel, All the Right Things, on February 13th, 2014. The third and final book in the Love in L.A. series, The Winner Takes it All, is tentatively scheduled to be released on September 16th, 2014. She has also just announced a crossover series, the Love in N.Y.C. series (Say Anything, Say Something and Say Nothing), which she is already working on.
Born and raised in Hawaii, Audrey Harte grew up an only child for the first eight years of her life, which forced her to use her imagination to keep herself entertained. In 1991, she moved to Nebraska where she attended junior high and high school and participated in several plays and musical productions at the local community college and West Nebraska Arts Center. In 1998, Audrey relocated to Los Angeles, California where she has lived ever since. She has been writing poetry and song lyrics since she was young, but only more recently has she joined the indie author community.
Tour Review: The Winner Takes All by Audrey Harte
Synopsis: Annie and Casey are both heading to New York City for the next round of auditions for The Next American Superstar. They’re officially a couple now and seem to be happy as clams, but what will happen as they continue getting to know each other better? How will their relationship fare under extreme amounts of stress as they both compete to win the title and grand prize of a five million dollar contract for their own show in Las Vegas? Only one can win. Will their love survive this final test? Review: I really enjoyed this series. It’s light-hearted and sweet. A perfect escape on a rainy Saturday. I loved that there wasn’t a lot of drama, I just enjoyed escaping my mommy role and getting lost in the spotlight of Annie and her life. And what a life it is! Hot men. That can dance. (Swoon) Cameos are… Read more »
Happy Release Day Audrey Harte! The Winner Takes All is finally here!
Synopsis: Annie and Casey are both heading to New York City for the next round of auditions for The Next American Superstar. How will their relationship fare under extreme amounts of stress as they both compete to win the title and grand prize of a five million dollar contract for their own show in Las Vegas? Only one can win. Will their love survive this final test. Excerpt: An hour later, Annie was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on the 405 south, gritting her teeth at the whopping 5mph she was travelling. “Don’t you stupid people realize I haven’t seen my man in forever and only have a couple of days with him before he disappears again?” she yelled in frustration, even though… Read more »
EXCERPT: Love in All the Wrong Places by Audrey Harte
I really enjoyed this book. In fact, I read it over a week ago and Annie is still on my mind… Check out this excerpt below and make sure you one-click this book while it’s on sale for only 99 pennies! To read my review of this book, click here. ~Excerpt~ Thankfully, traffic wasn’t too bad since it was a Tuesday night and she was only running a few minutes late when she pulled up to the valet. A portly, middle-aged man of Hispanic descent wearing a zipped-up, black jacket and black slacks opened the door for her and handed her a ticket. Shivering, she rubbed her arms briskly as she moved to the end of the rather long line of people standing outside the club. Annie thought she was being smart when she decided to leave her coat in the car, knowing how hot she would get once she… Read more »
Tour Review: Love in All the Wrong Places by Audrey Harte
Why aren’t people reading this book??? OK, so I’ve been meaning to read this book for ages now. I had the great pleasure of meeting Audrey, twice, and always told her I’d read her book(s), but one thing led to another and hers just kept getting pushed back. So when her tour came around, I immediately signed up and I’m so glad I FINALLY read this book. Love in All the Wrong Places is cute, charming, witty, and realistic. I found myself getting giddy along with main character Annie as she navigates her way through craigslist online dating. First, after all those creepy Lifetime movies, do people actually check craigslist for dates? I’m thinking yes, and Annie Chang has her hands full as she weeds through the chaos and crap of online dating. Throughout the story you meet three potential loves for Annie. Each one gets better than the previous… Read more »
