“I can sleep on the couch. No worries.” I felt a little like an idiot and a lot like a priss. The bed was huge—it wasn’t like I’d be pressed up against his body all night. Unfortunately. No. Not unfortunately. Besides, we were both adults. This wasn’t that big of a deal. “You don’t have to do that.” Calder raised his hands in a placating gesture. “I don’t want you to be uncomfortable, Frankie.” “I’m fine. We’re adults. No biggie.” I shrugged, almost believing my nonchalance myself. “You’re sure?” He ducked his head down a bit and looked at me from under his brows. I nodded. “I will need to borrow a t-shirt or something, though.” “That I can do.” He walked over to a dresser, rummaged through it for a minute, and pulled out a shirt for me. “Here, wear this one. I can grab you some shorts, but… Read more »

$20 GIVEAWAY and EXCERPT: Rumor Has It by Elisabeth Grace
EXCERPT He started to ease the white vest off my shoulders when I came back to my senses. I knew those period panties would come in handy. I pulled away. “Wait, wait.” “What’s wrong?” He looked confused. His eyes darted from side to side like he was trying to assess the problem. “I can’t do this. I’m sorry. I have a rule.” I was panting. “Can we talk about your rules later?” He moved to pull me into him again. “No. Stop,” I mumbled against his lips. I’m sure he was used to girls dropping their drawers the instant he said go but I wasn’t going to be one of them. No matter how badly my body was insisting I should be. “Ten dates. That’s my rule.” “Come again?” His choice of phrasing had my mind swimming in images of the two of us and I fought to keep my… Read more »
Tour Review: Picture Perfect by Elisabeth Grace
Picture Perfect was damn near perfect. It was exactly what I was looking for when I started reading it. It’s not too deep, but it draws you in with the first chapter and makes you not want to put it down once you start. This kind of book is my favorite… the kind where I’m smiling while reading and not realizing it until the hubs notices and says, “Good book?”. Picture Perfect is the second in the Limelight series, and the first book I read from this author, so you can read this as a standalone without confusion. Recently single Skye (daughter of a big-time mayor and possible candidate for Senate) finally goes out on a girls night with her friend to forget about her ex-boyfriend and is ready to start her next chapter in her life, beginning with her new career as assistant at a up and coming PR… Read more »
