TOUR: Kinetic by S.K. Anthony + Giveaway

a Rafflecopter giveaway About the Author: S.K. Anthony is a writer, a reader and a make-stuff-up-er who lives in New York with her husband and toddler twins. She is a wine connoisseur, which just really means she knows she loves it, and a caffeine addict. When she isn’t busy with her family she finds herself being transported into the world of imagination. Well, either that or running away from spiders…she is convinced they are out to get her! Website | Facebook | Twitter | Google+ | Pinterest | Goodreads       My Review: Kinetic’s cover immediately drew me in, and it turns out the characters are as unique as the pretty on the front. I’m not quite sure that I would classify it as new adult. It’s more adult. What I liked: There are  a lot of things to like about Kinetic. My favorite is probably the different abilities,… Read more »

REVIEW: Visited by Janine Caldwell

REVIEW: Visited by Janine Caldwell

REVIEW Visited is a young adult novel about learning to think of others before yourself. Joanna is dealing with a lot of changes in her life – changes she’s not necessarily on board with. Her relationship with her mother has changed a lot in the past year – especially since her mother remarried after being a single parent for a very long time. Joanna’s father died of cancer when she was younger and her mother had to struggle to raise her alone. So when Stan comes along, and then a new baby on top of that, Joanna is not feeling very generous. In fact, she’s rather bratty for a seventeen year old. This is how she finds herself outside on her roof star-gazing – feeling sorry for herself that her family backpacking trip in Europe the next summer will need to be cancelled because her mother and Stan are expecting… Read more »

REVIEW: Origin by Jennifer L Armentrout

REVIEW: Origin by Jennifer L Armentrout

Holy Alien babies everywhere, Katy has grown up and is no longer a stupid girl I want to smack. That doesn’t mean I’m willing to admit she is worthy of Daemon, but that might be selfishness on my part. I really don’t want to have to share him. With her that is, I’ll happily share him with my fellow readers. You have read the Lux series right? If not, please do. It is my favorite series in a long time. Like, if I could only take one book series with me to read on a deserted island for the rest of my life, it would be a strong contender. After the agonizing cliffhanger of book 3, Origin has been on my must-have list. I read it straight through in one sitting because there was no way I could put it down. Some of the events were quite disturbing and literally… Read more »

In the second and final installment of Neima’s Ark, the stakes are higher, the conflicts are greater, and Neima finds herself facing a choice as impossible as the destruction all around her.
