Happy ONE Year Anniversary to Guns by JA Huss

Any one who knows me, knows I love Spencer Shrike with a passion. I claimed him as my top book boyfriend over a year and a half ago… and one year ago today, Guns: The Spencer Book released. Julie gave me an ARC on my 28th birthday and I cried. I cried a lot through this book; because her characters became real to me. I fell in love with #theteam and wanted to be a part of their world. Kristi’s Review: I don’t even know how I can adequately put my thoughts into words that would remotely come close to telling you how much I freaking LOVED this book. Love—is an understatement. REVIEW The Duality Principle was a quick, fun, sexy read that I thoroughly enjoyed. Connor is bad boy pretending to be good and Gabby is a nerd girl with a rebellious streak. The two of them meet and make assumptions about each other that throws off the flow of their newly developing relationship. I thought the story was well-written and well-edited. I enjoyed it. It wasn’t ground-breaking, but it was a story I wanted to keep reading until the end. The sexy times were fun and hot and Connor’s hidden alpha-male tendencies added the perfect balance to his computer coding day-job persona. There isn’t a lot of theme going on in this little novella, but the takeaway for me was more than the old ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ type stuff.
